Niklas Fanelsa is an architect and founder of the architecture studio Atelier Fanelsa in Berlin. He studied architecture at the RWTH Aachen University and the Tokyo Institute of Technology. He worked with De Vylder Vinck Taillieu in Gent/Belgium and with TBBK in Berlin. As a research assistant he worked at the housing department at the RWTH Aachen as well as at the Department for Building within existing housing stock at the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. Currently he is a research assistant at the Department for Housing Design with Verena von Beckerath at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
