Mara Usai

Mara Usai is currently a semi-nomadic practitioner, interested in questioning architecture, art and pedagogy as practices of liberty. Trained as architect, she has developed her knowledge on critical approaches for architecture and urban design within the KU Leuven international master of Urban Projects – Urban Cultures, and by joining several projects and research initiatives across Europe. She’s currently working with an action and research collective specialized in participatory planning and design; she also curates projects of the co-funded cultural association Eterotopia, which explores the current state of Italian territory through different actions such as research events, workshops and performances.
